Mongolia is home to a new streaming platform, Sonsy, which is designed to rival global giants such as Apple and Spotify while supporting Mongolian artists.

How it works:
Mongol Content LLC – Mongolia’s first content aggregator and a prominent force in the country’s digital media and entertainment industry – used Tuned Global’s white-label streaming technology to build Sonsy.

Tuned Global’s technology handles the backend duties such as content delivery, security, licensing and data analytics.

Sonsy offers “CD quality sound, gold-standard security and reliability, and unlimited listening for subscribers.”

Local support:
Launched by Mongolmusic (the music distribution arm of Mongol Content LLC), Sonsy is a new discovery channel for local fans and a new revenue channel for local artists.

Per-stream royalties, promotional support and collaboration opportunities are on offer to help local artists reach audiences domestically and internationally.
